Malek Fahd Islamic School prides itself on the promotion of care, respect and cooperation. The relationship between our students, parents and staff is the foundation leading to our success. We provide a balanced approach to education which inshaAllah helps us to produce educated Muslim students who contribute positively to Australian society. As proud Australian Muslims, we start our school day with recitations from the Holy Quran and the singing of the Australian National Anthem.

2010 has been a year of great achievements for students and teachers across the school. Our students have continued to excel in their academic work, sports and creative arts.

One hundred and eight students sat the Year 3 NAPLAN test. One hundred percent of students achieved skill band 2 or higher in Literacy and Numeracy. The majority of the students were in the top 2 bands in both Literacy and Numeracy.

One hundred and fifty six students sat the Year 5 NAPLAN test. One hundred percent of students achieved skill band 4 or higher in Literacy and ninety nine percent achieved skill band 4 or higher in Numeracy. The majority of students were in the top 2 bands in both Literacy and Numeracy.

Congratulations also to all our sporting teams for such a fantastic effort. We are proud to have such fine representation at Malek Fahd Islamic School. Their performance, behaviour and attitude are exemplary.

A fundamental element in the value of Islam is the value of human brotherhood and the unity of mankind. Congratulations and thank you to all our students, parents and staff for making MFIS such a success. We thank Allah (SWT) for everything.
