In 1993, Malek Fahd Islamic High School
opened its doors with fewer than 100 students and a handful of teachers.
We quickly established a reputation for academic excellence
and now our high school has 959 students enrolled in 2011.
Our present student body and alumni are proud of the school’s
reputation and success. We expect each of our students to embrace
this hardworking & successful culture and inshallah they too,
will contribute to the future success of the school.
The Religious Education Syllabus from K-12 is compulsory
for all students at Malek Fahd Islamic School. Other Courses of
Study (curriculum) have been designed to meet the aims of the school
and support the School Vision and Mission Statement.
Courses offered range from English (Advanced and Standard), Mathematics
(all levels), Science and Senior Science including Biology, Physics
and Chemistry, Community Language – Arabic, HSIE (History,
Geography, Legal Studies, Business Studies and Studies of Religion),
Mandatory Technology and IST, The Arts and PD/H/PE. The school
follows the K–12 syllabuses designed by the Board of Studies
in New South Wales. Consideration has been given to the needs of
the school stakeholders – students, parents, and the wider
community, the requirements of the Board of Studies, and the needs
of the society into which our students will make contributions.
It is also important that students take part in sports activities
and extra curricula activities like debating, fundraising and community
service programs.
